Archive for ‘St. Paul’

As I sit. And I know you are awful quiet now….

here is another day of my exploration in black and white photography. I noticed a deviant quality in the Saint Paul community today.

The ambiance of clutter in the the coffee houses seem filled with anxious folks anticipating spring. We haven’t had much of a winter this year and

the site of empty buses and complacent smokers catch my eye.

I got bored before work and shot some black and white which I rarely do.

Not a huge, at least from what I can produce. So here is my attempt to wow

you. Leave some comments or a sure dude. I wanna figure out how to turn the like button

into a sure dude button. Someday. Enjoy

Philip Carlton + Blatant Abuse of Artistic Liscense

With the cold weather barring down on my ability to stay outside, art shows are where I find my shelter from the potential hypothermia. Today I had the pleasure of freeloading my visual spirit at Philip Carltons studio in west Saint Paul. What really caught my attention was the ninja turtle iconic portrayals from my childhood. Cartlons speculation of our generation in that buying art on bigger scale might have to result in smaller prints which I am fully down to spend some cash on. Maybe in my financial prime I could see myself buying an original. Anyways, Philip will be anticipating a gallery showing in January. More info. below:

Junior John + Dgiesn

I did some design work for Junior John, who is a Rapper/Producer from southern california.
Most of his work revolves around House/electronic sound. J.J. is in the works of
putting an album together in the near future, so anticipate some new tracks.

Transitions make me see brighter

I was recently recommended to read this book called Makers Diet. I think the next month ill be documenting my progression into a new way of eating and exercising. So far the read is just what the author went through with his physical health. Put me in more of a perspective of my own health and brought me back to when I had done the grass is green documentary.
